Mercedes-Benz Vans has introduced the new Vito Sport-X, a UK-exclusive trim for the Vito Crew van range, combining distinctive motorsport-inspired styling with upgraded interior features, strong performance and everyday practicality.
Created to mark 130 years of transportation, the Sport-X builds on the Vito SELECT specification and will sit at the top of the Vito Crew van line-up when orders open in September 2026.
Powered by the 190 PS 2.0-litre diesel engine and paired with the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, the Vito Sport-X produces 440 Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0–62 mph in 10 seconds.
Visually, the Sport-X introduces a sharper, more distinctive look. Exterior features include a redesigned front bumper and grille with integrated splitter, rear spoiler, gloss black detailing, side skirts, roof rails, Sport-X badging, sport stripes to the bonnet and sides, and 19-inch diamond-cut black alloy wheels.
Alpine Grey is offered as standard, while Arctic White and a choice of metallic finishes including Sodalite Blue, Obsidian Black, Kalahari Gold, High Tech Silver, Graphite Grey and Hyacinth Red are also available.
Inside, the traditional three-seat front bench is replaced by individual sport seats with integrated headrests, redesigned bolsters and Sport-X branding. The cabin features black eco-leather and dark grey suede upholstery with orange contrast stitching, alongside heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging and a centre console with additional storage.
The Sport-X also retains key Vito SELECT equipment, including smartphone integration, TEMPMATIC air conditioning, ambient lighting and driver assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist.
Available as a five-seat crew van in L2 and L3 body lengths, the Sport-X offers payloads of up to 733 kg, load capacity of up to 4.1 m³ and towing capability of up to 2,500 kg. A removable rear bench also provides additional flexibility when extra load space is required.
Each Vito Sport-X includes a three-year manufacturer warranty, MobiloVan roadside assistance and breakdown cover, and Uptime monitoring.
The new Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport-X will be available to order from September 2026, priced from £56,995 excluding VAT.
