Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van NI is expanding its technical team at Mallusk. We are looking for qualified Light and Heavy Vehicle Technicians who take pride in their workmanship and want to develop their careers with one of the world’s most respected commercial vehicle brands.
Whether your experience is with Mercedes-Benz or another manufacturer, we would like to hear from you.

For technicians progressing through the Mercedes-Benz Truck qualification, we will also sponsor your HGV Class 1 licence on successful completion.

£3,000 joining bonus — £1,000 on successful completion of probation and £2,000 on your first service anniversary.

The role
You will use your technical skills to keep our customers’ vehicles safe, reliable and ready for the road.
Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to Mercedes-Benz standards.

Diagnosing faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment.

Completing vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements.
-
Maintaining accurate job cards and repair records.
-
Delivering high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.

Working with colleagues to support an efficient workshop.

Supporting and mentoring apprentices.
What you’ll bring
-
City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

A full UK driving licence and your own tools.

A professional approach, a strong work ethic and pride in doing the job well.

A willingness to develop your skills through ongoing Mercedes-Benz training.

Week 1
Monday–Thursday: 08:15–16:45
Friday: 08:30–17:00
Week 2
Monday–Thursday: 08:15–16:45
Friday: 08:30–17:00
Saturday: 08:30–15:00
Week 3
Monday–Thursday: 15:45–midnight
