Mercedes-Benz Parts Sales Advisor
Be a “Part of something” within a premium brand. M-B Truck and Van are looking for a Parts Sales Advisor to work in our new state of the art Dungannon dealership opening in August 2024.
Shift pattern: 42.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
Saturday overtime working will be on a rotational basis; 08:00 – 12:00.
Job Background and Purpose:
· To handle all customers/prospective customers in a prompt, helpful and efficient manner both on the telephone and in person
· Communicating with customers, giving product advice along with promotions and offers
· Identifying and sourcing Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle parts, processing orders in a timely and accurate manner
· Upsell products and vehicle parts accessories
· Locate unavailable items from other suppliers and arrange for delivery
· Assist with stock management and with general parts department duties
· Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Aptitude, Values & Work Ethic:
· Positivity with the desire to learn and develop within the dealership
· A passion for vehicles
Essential:
· Experience within a similar role within the motor industry
· IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and navigate parts catalogues
· Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face
· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
· A good team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
· Commitment to delivering customer excellence
Desirable:
· Experience of using Kerridge/CDK or a dealer management system
