Service Advisor Dungannon
As part of our exciting plans for a new M-B Truck & Van depot in Dungannon opening in August 2024, we are currently recruiting for an additional full-time Service Advisor.
As a Service Advisor for Mercedes-Benz, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and guidance throughout the vehicle repair process.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30

Job role:
· First point of contact for customers with substantial influence on customer satisfaction
· Responsible for the preparation and planning of vehicle bookings
· Face to face, telephone and email enquiries/bookings from customers and passing on information correctly
· Retail invoicing as required
· Maintain the highest standards of customer contact and communications throughout their visit
· Preparing job packs, checking for recalls and updating Truckfile
· Liaising with all internal departments; Service colleagues, Sales Executives, Technicians and Parts Advisors
· Partake in internal and external audits to ensure dealer standards are maintained
Essential Criteria:·
Previous experience in an automotive service operation or in a comparable role within the service sector
· Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
· Basic technical knowledge and an understanding of service and parts
· Excellent customer service skills, with a polite and professional manner
· Strong work ethic and good time management
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· IT literate: with the ability to navigate and learn new systems
Desirable Criteria:
· Working knowledge of Kerridge Dealer Management System
